Sushi OTA is not a see and be seen spot; however, it is where diners go to experience Japanese food prepared in all the traditional Japanese ways. Light, bright, and offering a staff that is friendly and welcoming the meal you have while dining here will be one that you may just add to your personal top 10 list of best meals ever consumed. Residing in the same place since 1990, this lovely restaurant is simply the best place to get sushi in all of San Diego.
The Menu
We’ve already touched on how sweet and fresh the sushi is and their menu offers an extensive variety of the best in the region, but if that’s all you look at it while you’re here, you are depriving yourself of some wonderful meals. Also offering chicken teriyaki and noodles, an appetizer menu that includes soups, salads, and veggies such as edamame and steamed spinach. Their wine menu features more than a few California wines, but there are some French and Italian bottles thrown in for good measure. And because you can’t really consider that you’ve dined on authentic Japanese food without accompanying the meal with sake, their sake menu, which also features a few beers, never fails to please.
